Commercial electricians work on business-related electrical systems that power retail stores, office buildings, restaurants, hotels, and other similar facilities.
A commercial electrician installs or maintains the wiring, control systems and electrical devices in commercial structures. Typically, commercial electricians begin a project by examining blueprints and technical documents. They are also responsible for following building codes and safety rules.
Commercial electriciansinspect new and existing facilities and uses testing equipment to diagnose defects and identify problems.
